Question by cjld999: Can anyone please advise me on how to get a Cucusoft conversion program to recognize my DVD burner?
The conversion works fine but the program simply throws up an error message after conversion saying there is no DVD burner but there is!! I’ve emailed Cucusoft direct but they aren’t exactly fast responders! I am hoping someone else may have encountered the same problem and managed to fix it. Thanks in advance.

To me it souonds like there is a stray character in your DVD path or your DVD path is simply wrong. Forinstance assuming the drive letter of your DVD Writer is D: ensure that the output path in the program also reads D: Don’t rely on the fact that you named the unit D: and it was D: last week, if you added any other drive, like ipod, or memory stick the drive letter could have been changed without advising you. So just double check it.
Double check that the output type settings are correct for the type project you have asked it to create. For instance, you can not make a DVD (Video player type) with a CD disk or using a CD writer. Your hardware must have the DVD emblem on it.
Sometimes downloading the newest driver for your CD RW on your pc can change the CD Writer to a DVD writer via firmware or other driver changes. Check the manufacturer’s support and download page.

3. Click “New” button

4. In “File Browser” window, open your “DVD_Disk1″ folder ,open the folder” VIDEO_TS” and select all the files in it.
5. Drag them(see picture below) into “DVDVideo1_DVD” window. Drop all the files into “VIDEO_TS” folder
6. Select File->Write CD or click “Open the write cd dialog…” button at “6″.
After you click “Write CD”, you will see the UI below.
6. Mark the check box of “Write”.
7. Select Write speed, lower may work better if you get problem on playing the DVD.
8. Click “Write” button
